Herrerasaurus was among the oldest known dinosaurs. It lived roughly
230 million years ago in present day South America. It probably dwelled in
temperate forest hunting small animals, but a bite mark on one
Herrerasaurus fossil suggests this early dinosaur may have been hunted
by even larger predators.
